Named after the Pesse Canoe — the world’s oldest known boat, a dugout carved from a single Scots pine log around 10,000 years ago — this brand is built on a philosophy of stripping back the unnecessary and letting exceptional tobacco speak for itself. Produced by Gladora Tobacco in Turkey, every Pesse Canoe blend is crafted from locally-grown leaf: Virginia from the Adiyaman region, Oriental from Yaydalagi and Bitlis, and Latakia from the fields around Izmir. The result is a range of beautifully pressed flakes with outstanding provenance and character.
