Murray’s : The manufacturer of pipe tobacco closed its door and the company moved the production to the Orlik Factory in Denmark. Quite a few brands were delisted but over the last few months a few of these have be reintroduced! One range to reappear this month is the Plugs and I now have three of the four in stock!

Merton & Falcon: This company made the Falcon pipes and distributed other ranges. They are infact going to continue to make the pipe but deal through another distributor to supply the trade. Peterson pipes used them as their wholesaler in the UK but have moved this now to Gawith Hoggarth. This move may be a benefit because we could see an expansion of the range of pipes available here!

Grudging: The Midland retailer closed its wholesale arm at the end of 2005. They were famous for making the Philtpad and for their range of stock items.

Over the last few months I have seen an increase in customers asking for pipes and items to start pipe smoking with. To this end in the next few days I will be adding a Starter kit to the Pipe pages which will include all the items required!
